Local artists that we service

On our travels doing Farmers Markets throughout Mendocino County, we have the pleasure of keeping some of the Artists happy by making sure their tools are sharp. Here are a few that you can check out. 

If you are an Artist or Craft-person using specialized tools, don't hesitate to contact us about your sharpening needs.

• First off there is Jonathan Palmer in Fort Bragg. He came to us with some very small linoleum cutting chisels to sharpen.  Check out Jonathan's website to preview his fantastic work.

• Next , in Mendocino there is Vicki Fraser, Rugmaker, whom with the help of Emily Whittlesey are   creating the California Rug project. Vicki uses large industrial type scissors in her work which we keep sharp for her. 
• Ellen Witherite in Fort Bragg does wonderful paper cut-outs.  Ellen uses very small delicate scissors for her work. Here are a couple of her works. Contact : herite@mcn.org.
